Privacy Policy.

Schoolers Dressage Online (Schoolers, we, us) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through dressage-online.com and our entries, why we collect it, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

• Entry details: your name, email address, phone number, postal address, horse name, the test and level you ride, your chosen display name or alias, and your YouTube video link.
• Results: your Schoolers Scores, scoresheets, commentary and Personal Results.
• Payment: confirmation that you have paid. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card details.
• Newsletter and contact: your email address and anything you choose to tell us when you sign up, fill in a survey or contact us.
• Site usage: general information about how the site is used, such as pages visited and device type, collected through cookies and similar tools.

• To process your entry, send your video to our judge, and return your scoresheet and commentary.
• To track your Personal Results and show your display name and scores on the rankings.
• To post your ribbons.
• To reply to your questions and send you updates about your entry.
• To send our newsletter, if you have signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.

Only your display name or alias, level, number of tests, Personal Result and ribbon count appear on the rankings and in our social posts. Your real name, contact details and postal address are never published without your consent. Your video link is shared with our judge only, and your video is not published unless you give us permission.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with people and services that help us run Schoolers, and only as much as they need:

• Our judge, who receives your video link, test and level.
• Stripe, for secure payments.
• Netlify and Google, which host the site, entry forms and our results records.
• MailerLite, for our newsletter and entry emails.
• Postal services, to deliver your ribbons.
• Anyone we are required to share information with by law.

The site uses cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, to understand visits and measure our advertising. These collect information about your browser and activity on the site, not your name. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and protect it from loss or misuse. We keep entry and results information for as long as it is needed to run the rankings and your Personal Results history, and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed. Some of the services we use store information outside New Zealand. We only use services we believe protect personal information to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it, change your display name, or remove you from the rankings. Email amanda@dressage-online.com and we'll respond within 20 working days.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
