PR is your best score at a level, your Personal Result.
Every PR earns a ribbon
Your PR, or Personal Result, is your best Schoolers Score so far for one horse and rider at one level. There are no placings and no field to beat.
Your first test at a level gets you on the board and sets the score to beat. Every time a later test at that level beats your PR, that is a new Personal Result and a ribbon is posted to you. There is no minimum margin.
Any Schoolers test at the level counts toward the same PR. Move up a level or ride a different horse, and you start a fresh line.
Ribbons are sent by standard post within New Zealand. Overseas riders may be asked to cover postage.
Your progress score shows how quickly your scores are climbing with one horse at one level. It appears once you have ridden two tests on the same line.
Picture each of your scores as a dot on a graph, in the order you rode them, with a straight line drawn through them. Your progress score is how steeply that line climbs from one test to the next. In maths terms, it is the slope of a least-squares linear regression, also known as the line of best fit. Ride 60.00% and then 64.00%, and your progress score is +4.00.
Every test you ride is part of the line, so it keeps updating as you go. It is a ranking figure, not a percentage, and a dash means there is no climb to show yet.
Progress scores aren't eligible for prizes, but they're fun to track.
