Online dressage is for everyone.

Online dressage broadens the appeal to riders from other disciplines. Riders who don't want the fuss of a full dressage show can still take part.

A low-stress start

It's a relaxed environment for riders who are just starting out.

More than a scoresheet

Riders of all levels are already raving about Schoolers Dressage Online. Along with their scoresheet, every rider gets a video commentary that takes a deep dive into their ride and explains the reasons behind their scores. This is only possible with an online test, and it helps them improve before the next one.

More chances to win

Riders compete at your club and also go onto the Schoolers leaderboard, where they can keep earning prizes.

What riders say

Getting us match fit.

“On Sunday we did our first actual competition at the Horowhenua Dressage Group comp and we won our class, the test of choice, Level 5 and over. I got 67% doing 6C. I was over the moon! This only happened because of the Schoolers comp getting us more ‘match fit’!”

“Please tell Bill how much I appreciate his input, and this whole initiative.”

FAQ

Are the tests FEI affiliated?

No. Schoolers tests and format aren't FEI affiliated. They were developed by Grand Prix trainer and judge Bill Noble.

Can we use other tests, such as official Dressage NZ or FEI tests?

No. Schoolers isn't currently affiliated with Dressage NZ or the FEI, so Schoolers online dressage competitions use Schoolers tests only.

Can we use our own judge?

Yes. If you'd like an online competition with your own judge but no admin, talk to us about using the Schoolers platform with your judge.

What rules apply to our competition?

Every Schoolers competition follows our rules and terms. We can also provide an additional document for your competition, covering any rules specific to your club and how placings and ribbons are awarded.

How does the club get its $5 per entry?

The $5 is in New Zealand dollars (NZ$5 per entry). We pay your club after the competition closes, with a list of confirmed entries. Clubs in New Zealand are paid by direct bank transfer. Clubs outside New Zealand are paid by Wise transfer to their local bank account, which can take up to 10 business days to arrive.

How soon are results ready?

We judge and return tests within 7 working days of entry. Club competition placings are published the next working day after your competition end date, and posting the ribbons to your club can take up to 10 business days.

How do we film an online dressage test?

Our filming guide on the blog covers everything, from where to put the camera to what to do if something goes wrong.

What levels can riders enter?

Schoolers tests run from Introductory to Grand Prix. There are no qualifying rounds, so riders can give any test a go.
